Day 1: Earth - Grounding

Hey Beloved,

Welcome to your first day on the 7 Day Nurturing Challenge.

Today is all about setting our foundations and getting grounded.

There are a selection of simple, going deeper and nurturing yoga practices. You can choose which practice you would like to do depending on how much time you have and what you feel like doing.

Remember, it doesn't matter which practice you choose, all that matters is that you have the intention to be completely supported and connected to the earth.

Nurturing You: Simply Practice - Walking Barefoot

Walking Barefoot is a simple grounding practice which reminds you how it feels to consciously decide to be supported by the earth.

This practice comes from our Nurturing You: Simply Course which contains simple everyday practices that you can use to nurture yourself in under 5 minutes.

When is the last time that you felt the earth underneath your feet? How do you tread on the earth; do you walk heavily or lightly? What does it feel like to connect your body to the ground?

Connecting with the Earth is a powerful grounding practice which allows you to re-establish your foundation and reconnect with mother earth with deep awareness.

This practice comes from our Nurturing You: Going Deeper Course which contains practices that really tap into your core being.

When is the last time that you felt a strong connection to the earth? How does it feel when you are completely grounded?
